Join us in welcoming Jim Schubbe to the team! Jim is coming in as a District Associate working on starting new units around the council.

Jim's scouting journey began on a playground in Minnesota where he was invited to join a Pack by his second-grade classmates. He eventually earned his Arrow of Light and joined the associated Scout Troop, attending weekend campouts, high adventures, and summer camp. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 2018. Jim's professional career started as a summer camp staff member in 2017. He worked many summers in various roles before working in community scouting at Basecamp from 2024 to 2026. He is excited to work as a District Associate! This is an opportunity to help members of the community establish real connections with other people and nature through the Scouting program.
