National Youth Leadership Training is an exciting, action-packed program designed for councils to provide youth members with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home troops and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others.

June 25, 2023-June 30, 2023

February 2023 Unit of the month goes to Troop 8. Their service in the community began in the fall with advertising they would be picking up Christmas trees and recycling them. They worked on this in both December and January. Great service to the community Troop 8!!!

The annual District Recognition Dinner is held to recognize those leaders who go above and beyond in the service of youth. All Scouters in the Salt Valley District are invited and encouraged to attend. At the dinner we honor our Scouts who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2022. We also recognize many Unit Level Volunteers nominated by their peers and by District Leadership.
