250 America Awards

As the United States of America marks its 250th anniversary, we have a unique opportunity to reflect on our nation’s history, celebrate its ideals, and look ahead to its future. This milestone is more than a commemoration—it’s a call to engage, serve, and lead in our communities.
In recognition of this historic occasion, Scouts have the chance to earn two special awards that honor both heritage and action. The first is our very own Semi-Quinquennial Award, created to celebrate this once-in-a-generation anniversary. The second is Scouting America’s Liberty in Action Award, which challenges Scouts to explore the meaning of freedom and actively contribute to their communities.
Together, these awards encourage Scouts to connect the past with the present—learning, serving, and leading as we celebrate 250 years of the United States.
