Training for Adults in Cub Scouts

POSITION-SPECIFIC TRAINING IN CUB SCOUTING

Youth Contact Positions:

  • Den Leader/Assistant Den Leader
  • Cubmaster/Assistant Cubmaster

Hazardous Weather Training is required.  

 

Non-Youth Contact Positions:

  • Charter Organization Representative
  • Pack Committee Chair
  • Pack Committee
    • Advancement 
    • Treasurer
    • Pack Trainer

Hazardous weather training is recommended.

 

EVERYONE MUST BE YOUTH PROTECTION TRAINED.

Outdoor Preparedness is required by someone in the unit in order to go camping.  (This is offered in the Spring and the Fall)

    If camping with Cub Scouts: 1 person from the unit MUST be BALOO trained. You are not allowed to camp if you don't have someone that is BALOO trained.
