A big thank you to our patron donors, our Fire Starters, listed on this page. Each donor listed here has contributed $1,000 or more annually to support the Scouts of the Cornhusker Council. Our annual year is from August to July, following the cycle of the school year, and will be refreshed each August.
The year 2020 is unlike any we’ve experienced. Here at the Boy Scouts of America Cornhusker Council, we’ve prided ourselves on our dedication to young people in our community, focusing on character development, kindness, bravery, and ethical choices that shape our future leaders. This year, that commitment has been renewed and reimagined as we’ve had to navigate how to provide the same connection and services to our Scouts during the COVID pandemic.
Our Scouts range in age from 5 to 18, supporting children from kindergarten through high school. This past year, 430 underserved and at-risk youth experienced our Scouting programs because of generous donors. As part of the Scouting program, those at-risk youth served among their peers to provide over 20,700 hours of service to our community.
With the help of foundational donors like our Fire Starters, our youth is provided with a sense of normalcy, pride, and purpose.
Will you be the spark that ignites the potential of our future leaders by becoming a Fire Starter?
Become a Fire Starter today with your donation of $1,000 or more and together let’s set the world on fire.
