Join Scouting

Scouting provides youth with an opportunity to try new things, provide service to others, build self-confidence, and reinforce ethical standards. These opportunities not only help them when they are young, but carry forward into their adult lives. The skills they learn in Scouting help them overcome obstacles and challenges with courage and character throughout their lives.

To join Scouting, contact your local unit or contact the Council Service Center to find out how to contact a Scout unit in your area. There are also Unit pages available in a list from each of our Council's district pages.

Attend a Recruitment Event

Recruitment events are a great way for you to meet the leaders of Cub Scout Packs and Boy Scouts Troops serving your area and to learn about what Scouting can offer. Scout units typically host recruitment events at your local school, church, or civic center in the fall and in the spring.

Come join the fun and see what it is all about!
