Troop Meetings Prior To The Jamboree

The Troop will meet several times prior to the Jamboree. It is important that you attend all of these meetings.

	February 27, 2005	1:00 - 4:00 PM Outdoor Education Center	We will start the process of placing Scouts into patrols and talk about creating patrol flags and names.
	March 20, 2005	1:00 - 4:00 PM Outdoor Education Center	Setting up gateways and tents and practice cooking.
	May 22, 2005	1:00 - 4:00 PM Outdoor Education Center	Setting up gateways and tents and practice cooking. Go over any questions on gear and what Scouts need to bring on the trip.
	July 9, 2005	Outdoor Education Center	Shakedown event. Begin at 9:00 am and end around 8:00 pm. Parents are welcome to stay for a while and visit, or come by during the day to see how things are progressing, but it is important for parents to remember that the boys are learning how it will work at Jamboree and will not have you there. This is a team building exercise as well as an informational meeting for the boys. It is recommended that parents come to the shakedown at about 6:15 or 6:30pm and stay until the meeting is over so that any questions unaddressed may be settled during that time.
