On August 19th, 2017 the Annual Scout Shooting Clays were held at Oak Creek Sporting Club near Brainard, NE.  A total of 53 shooters participated in this annual fundraiser to support Scouts in Southeast Nebraska and to support college scholarship in honor of Duane Daake. This is the second year we have had a youth portion to the event. Four youth competed in the Sporting Clays portion and eight youth competed in the Trap Shoot while also getting a chance to shoot a station and learn about Sporting Clays.  They also had fun playing rounds shooting games including Annie Oakley and flurries.

Thank you to our title sponsor The Cattle National Bank & Trust Co and Eagle Sponsor Olsson & Associates. Their generosity that makes this event a success.

We are looking forward to next year being a different style in Lincoln at our Outdoor Education Center.  To learn more or to be involved contact Rob Gilkerson at 402-413-9203 or rob.gilkerson@scouting.org
