Nominate someone for the Silver Beaver Award
Silver Beaver Award Application The Silver Beaver Award is the Highest Council Recognition awarded to registered adults for distinguished service to youth, upon nomination by the Local Council to the National Court of Honor of the Boy Scouts of America.
The award is made for noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth by registered Cub Scout Leaders, Boy Scout Leaders, Venture Scouters, Varsity Scouters, District Level Scouters and Council Level Scouters within the territory under the jurisdiction of a local council.
The recipients will be selected by a committee comprised of previously selected Silver Beaver recipients who are registered Scouters in our Council. Final approval of the committee’s selections will be by the National Court of Honor. The awards will be presented at the Annual Council Dinner - on Friday May 4th 2012.
Any Scouter who is at least 21 years of age or older is eligible for this award.
Candidates for this prestigious award must be nominated by their peers. Nominations are due to the council by February 27th, 2012 via mail or hand delivery;
