Scout Sunday and Scout Sabbath

Scout Sunday is on February 5 and Scout Sabbath is on February 11. The Scout Law says that a "Scout is Reverent" and the Scouts of all ages promise to do their "Duty to God". These values strengthen youth character in their family, community, and faith. To celebrate and honor the tradition, have your Scout wear the Class A uniform to your religious service.
Duty to God is an essential part of the Boy Scouts of America. Leaders and Scouts should inform their religious leaders of this event. The Scouts should have a part of the religious service.
Units can order Scout Sunday patches now, so the scouts can wear them for Scout Sunday. It is essential that you pre-order the patch from the Scout shop. Please email the Scout shop at [Click for member's page] or call at 402-488-6020 Ext 210 or 1-800-278-7402 Ext 210.
