Seven Feathers 2012 Merit Badge University

Seven Feathers Merit Badge University

The Seven Feathers Merit Badge University will again be held at Southeast Community College in Beatrice on Saturday, March 3rd. The address for the college is 4771 West Scott Road.  The Merit Badge University will take place in the Kennedy Center on Campus. Scouts should be in their Scout uniform.  Scouts should plan to be in attendance for the entire period of the class and be familiar with the requirements of the merit badge.  Bring a pen and paper for notes and pick up a copy of the BSA Merit Badge Booklet for the badge being taken. You can purchase the Merit Badge books at the Scout Shop in the Outdoor Education Center. We will be selling Merit Badge Books at the MBU while supplies last.  Scouts should also bring a sack lunch or have money to purchase lunch in the commons area.

Merit Badges being offered

Again there are a good number of merit badges being offered for this year's event.  Please be aware that not all requirements for each badge can be earned in a three-hour class period.  Scouts/Units will be given information regarding the requirements they will need to finish outside of the Merit Badge University.  Individual Scout Troops will be responsible for keeping records of what has been completed at MBU and what each Scout has left to complete the badge.  A full listing of Merit Badges can be found by clicking the Blue "Details" button on this page and following the activities tab.  You can also download the MBU information packet found under resources.
