  • Dutch-Oven-Cooking-Class Newly Added Content

    Come out to the OEC and we can have some fun. Gregg Meyer and friends will help you learn the basics or hon your skills. After the meals are ready to enjoy we will share the food with each other and discover new recipes and trade ideas and increase our Dutchoven cooking knowlege. AGAIN this is for the NOVICE and the WELL SEASONED cook who wants to have some fun while learning.
  • Communications Merit Badge Clinic Newly Added Content

    Saturday May 19th the Cornhusker Council will host a Merit Badge Clinic for the Communications Merit Badge at the Outdoor Education Center.
  • OEC "1 Day" Day Camp

    The Cub Scout Council Day Camp Committee is offering a "One Day - Day Camp" option for those that would rather not attend the Cub Scout Week Long Day Camp. We will still be doing the same activities and crafts for the day, but we will be starting a little bit later for those that are traveling from out of Lincoln. We need at least 50 Cub Scouts to sign up to host this event.
  • Join us to Celebrate the Successes of 2011 and the 100th Anniversary of the Eagle Scout

    Your presence is requested on Friday May 18th at 6:30pm (dinner will be served at 7pm) at Bryan LGH Medical Center East Campus at 1600 S. 48th Street, Lincoln, Nebraska to come and celebrate the success of our Districts and the Cornhusker Council at the dinner. The Council would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our dedicated volunteers and parents.
  • Go Scouting with YOUR Lincoln Saltdogs

    This year we are excited to offer two opportunities for you to watch your Lincoln Saltdogs in action and have a great night with other Scouts and adult leaders from the Cornhusker Council;
  • Cub Scout Week Long Day Camp - Summer fun for Cubs!

    New in 2012, Cub Scout Day Camp is all week long at the OEC and is scheduled for June 25-29th, 2012. Day Camp will offer the opportunity to earn sports pins this year along with the belt loops. Register now for the week long day camp as space is limited to the first 200 cub scouts.
  • Webelos are going to Blaze the Trails at Camp Cornhusker

    You're Invited! Calling all Webelos to Resident Camp. Boys who have recently completed third or forth grade and are now first and second year Webelos are welcome to come to Camp Cornhusker this summer!
  • Camp will be "Busy as a Beaver" on May 19th Newly Added Content

    Camp Cornhusker will be a busy place on Saturday, May 19th.....At Least that is the PLAN! We need adults and youth Order of the Arrow Members to sign up and plan to come out and help get some major work done that prepares the camp for the 2012 Camping Season!!!

  • Time to Sign up for the 2012 Scout Ushering Service

    It's time to start thinking about Husker Football again. Time for the ushers to get into game shape and ready to go also. If you are wanting to Usher at the Home football games, all you have to do is get signed up on-line. The event registration tab is here on this page. All Ushers must be registered with the Boy Scouts, and wear a FULL uniform to the games...
