Cub Scout Day Camp
Day camp is available to any registered Cub Scout, including new Tiger Cubs. New Tiger Cubs that participate must have their adult partner attend day camp. The Outdoor Education Center Day Camps in Walton, as well as the Day Camps held in the Seven Feathers and Prairie Winds Districts are operated under the direction of the Cornhusker Council, Boy Scouts of America. The camps follow all the BSA health and safety regulations, which include having trained and certified leaders. Qualified first aid personnel are on duty each day.
Cub Scouts will be placed into dens that rotate through eight different program stations each day. The Scouts will participate in archery, BB guns, crafts, games, nature, science, Scout skills, sports, and more in the great outdoors. Up to 5 or 6 belt loops will be offered each day.
Scouts may attend as many camps as they choose. Each camp will have theme specific activities and will have different advancement opportunities for the Scouts.
